4 Days Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech,you will have the opportunity to explore a variety of unique landscapes and cultures in Morocco. The trip starts in Fes and takes you to Merzouga, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. You will spend two nights in the desert of Erg Chebbi, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy an exciting camel trek and spend the night in the desert under the stars.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Fes – Ifran – Azrou Erfoud – Merzouga desert

After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your hotel, then head south from Ifrane and Azrou through the Middle Atlas Mountains. On the way, we’ll stop in the cedar forests and in Azrou to see the monkeys, then pass through the Midel Atlas mountain pass through Midelt for lunch and then drive to the magnificent Gorges de Ziz, carved out of volcanic rock. Stop for photos on the way to the Ziz Valley, arriving at the hotel in the desert.

Day 2: Merzouga desert – Khamlia Village – Family Nomads – Merzouga desert

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. We will start the special day to discover the desert, visiting the desert villages and visiting the nomad families to enjoy mint tea with nomads and see how they live, after exploring the old coal mine, then we go to the village of Khamlia blacks (Original are slaves) who play authentic spiritual music, after that we pass through the center of Merzouga, then in the afternoon a camel trek for a night in the camp, dinner and night in the desert camp. (Berber tent).

Day 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Enjoy breakfast in the camp, then a camel ride back to the hotel. After taking your shower, we will start our second day to reach Todra Gorges passing by Rissani palms the oldest imperial city that used to be famous economically, we will drive directly to Todra Gorges to enjoy this wonderful and famous canyon that we have in the south of Morocco, Lunch Break, after we head to Dades Gorges, dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, we’ll head to Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa) before crossing the Valley of Roses and the Skoura palm grove before arriving at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, visit the Cinema Museum, lunch and then visit the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a local UNESCO heritage site, then drive to the high Atlas Mountains. Stop for photos of TIZI N’Tichka. Then we’re off to Marrakech.

My partner and I booked this tour. We were pleasantly surprised. The treatment of our guide, Mustaf, has been excellent. On the way to the desert we made several stops in different villages and the guide explained everything in detail. The arrival in the desert was wonderful. We rode with the camel and hired an hour on quads. We recommend The spectacular desert camp, beautiful. With good food and at the end, the guides singing with a campfire in the middle. Finally, the next day, we saw the sunrise next to the camels in the middle of the desert. We highly recommend it.

Broaden your view of the world

The first time we took a guide/driver with us after having traveled all over Europe and, to a lesser extent, America. We had no regrets.
