The 10 Days Tour from Tangier to the Desert. you will enjoy Morocco. You will tour the incredible sites of Morocco. The trip starts in Tangier. First, we’ll visit Cape Spartel and the Hercules Cave. Next, we’ll cross the Rif Mountains, stroll through the azure city of Chefchaouen and see the Roman remains of Volubilis. a trip to Fez and Meknes. We’ll then head to the Swiss town of Ifrane in Morocco and the cedar forest. We will also ride camels and see the spectacular sunsets and sunrises in the Merzouga Desert in the Sahara. As well as exploring the Merzouga Desert, we’ll hike through the spectacular Todra and Dades gorges. The High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-n-Tichka gorge must be crossed. Visit Marrakech. Itinerary:
Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen
This day you will be transferred to your hotel from the airport or the port, depending on your choice and the time you arrive. You will then follow the 10-day Morocco itinerary for a panoramic tour of the city of Chefchaouen: in the north of Morocco, you will find a city where the color blue with white details predominates, fantastic to the eye. It forms a splendid contrast to the slopes of the Rif mountains. That’s why Chefchaouen is called the “Blue City”. It stands out not only for its color, but also for its squares and narrow streets sloping up and down between shapeless houses.
The lively souks and the Medina invite visitors to explore the entire city on foot in order to feel the lively energy that surrounds this beautiful place. In this way, you can share precious moments with the locals and get to know their art and culture directly. These include pottery and embroidery, and the colorful clothing that gave rise to the Djilaba: a long, loose-fitting unisex garment worn in the North African region.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Fes
After breakfast, we continue our 10-day tour of Morocco. There will be some free time to visit the city a little more before leaving for Fez. Fez is a beautiful city that was founded in the 13th century and is therefore considered to be the oldest of Morocco’s imperial cities, a true classic of this century. Artisans grouped together in streets and activities reminiscent of ancient alliances share space with peasants fleeing the drought of recent years. In the evening, dinner and accommodation at the hotel/Riad.
Day 3: Fes – City tour
After breakfast, the 10-day Morocco tour begins with a visit to the cultural capital of Morocco with its many monuments: “Al Karaouine”, the world’s first university built in 859. The “madrassas” which are Koranic schools: the “Mederssa Bou Inania” and the “Attarin”. It also includes the famous artisans’ route and the famous souks of Fez. Dinner and overnight in the same city.
Day 4: Fez – Ifrane – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Start the day with breakfast and then set off for the Middle Atlas Mountains. A brief stop in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Africa. Continue on to Azrou National Park, home to the cedar forest with its peculiar inhabitants, the friendly monkeys. Continue to Midelt for lunch, this town is impressive for its 1488-meter-high mountains, and Erfoud, where you will take a 4×4 straight to the paradise of Merzouga, where you will find the endless desert dunes of Erg Chebbi. Stay in this village for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Merzouga – Khamlia – Nomads Family – Erg Chebbi
Breakfast and excursion to the desert on a dune tour. There will be several visits to the desert villages of the nomadic people. One of these villages is Khamlia, with a stop to enjoy the ancient music of the Gnawa. After lunch, dromedaries await us to reach the desert and contemplate the impressive magical sunset in the Erg Chebbi dunes. At the end of this long day, we will rest in an authentic Berber tent, under the beautiful starry desert sky, have a splendid dinner and stay in the tent.
Day 6: Erg Chebbi – Toudra Gorges – Dades Valley
After breakfast, say goodbye to the desert route and set off for the spectacular Todra Gorges (gorges of the Todgha River). After visiting the palm grove of Tinghir. The journey continues, now heading towards the High Atlas to the reddish Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight here.
Day 7: Dades Valley – Ouarzazete
After a good breakfast, start the route of the thousand Kasbahs, the name given to a tour of a series of fortresses built of adobe with crenellated towers and brick ornaments. Arrival in Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Hadou – Marrakech
Breakfast and then take the route to the village of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for having been the setting for several films such as Laurence of Arabia (1962), Gladiator (2000), Cleopatra and The Jewel of the Nile, among others. Continue to Marrakech via the Tiwi-N-Tichka mountain pass (2260 m above sea level), a spectacular setting. Arrival and direct transfer to your accommodation in Marrakech.
Day 9: Marrakech City tour
After breakfast, the driver will drop you off at your hotel/Riad to start your visits. First the Menara gardens with their magnificent pond, the Koutoubia Mosque with its splendid minaret, the Saadian tombs of the city’s founders, the Bahia Palace and the Dar Ssi Said Museum. Finally, enjoy the intoxicating atmosphere of the famous Jamaa El Fna. Dinner and overnight in the same city.
Day 10: Marrakech – Casablanca
Breakfast and departure for Casablanca, heading for the airport to catch the plane home. And that’s the end of the 10-day Morocco itinerary.
