On arrival in Chefchaouen, we’ll have some free time to explore the “Blue Pearl of Morocco”, as the city is known. We’ll have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Chefchaouen

The second day of our trip will be spent entirely in Chefchaouen. We’ll have time to explore the streets of its medina and take pictures of what is one of Morocco’s most picturesque cities. We’ll be able to visit the panoramic points that offer us the best views of the “pearl of Morocco”, as Chefchaouen is also known. We will spend a second night in this city.

First we’ll pass through the Middle Atlas Mountains, visiting Ifrane, a city known as “Moroccan Switzerland” for its urban organization and architectural style. Then we’ll stop in a cedar forest where we can observe a colony of free-roaming monkeys. We will then pass through the Ziz valley, dotted with picturesque villages and a magnificent natural landscape. In Erfoud we will see the fossils that make this town famous, and shortly afterwards we will arrive in Merzouga, at the gates of the desert. There we will leave the car behind and get on the camels that will take us to the place where we will see the sunset. Then we’ll arrive at the camp where we’ll be served a traditional dinner and spend the night.

Day 6: Merzouga – Khamlia – Erg Chebbi

After watching the sun rise over the desert, we’ll return to the place where we left the car. We’ll have breakfast and be able to take a shower before starting another day of exploring.
