3 Days desert tour from Marrakech

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate- Dades Valley

On the 3 Days desert tour from Marrakech. 
Depart Marrakech for the Todgha gorges, we will cross the Tizi N’tichka mountains with lunch en route. Arrival in Ouarzazate and departure for the Todgha gorges, passing through Skoura, Morocco’s enchanting oasis, the Dades gorges . Arrival in the afternoon at the gorges and short hike to the gorges (1h walk), dinner and overnight stay in a typical riad.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra gorges – Merzouga desert

After visiting the Todgha gorges depart for the dunes of Merzouga, stopping at an archaeological area where there are many prehistoric fossils, lunch in Rissani, a typical Berber village with an ancient Kasbah. Afternoon arrival in Merzouga and sunset with dromedary ride. Dinner and overnight in Merzouga at a nomadic bivouac at Erg Chebi, evening with traditional Saharaoui desert music.

Day 3: Merzouga desert – Draa Valley – Marrakech

Depart Merzouga for Ouarzazate, on the way we will pass through the Berber villages of Anif and Tazarine, with the beautiful palm grove and sites of rock carvings and pre-Islamic tombs, where we will take the road back to the Draa valley, arrive in Agdez and cross the Little Atlas mountains. Lunch and afternoon visit to the Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou. Located 30 km from Ouarzazate, Aït Ben Haddou is an ancient Berber Kasbah UNESCO heritage site that has kept its original architecture and pace of life intact.
