On this 9 Days Tour from Casablanca, which starts in Casablanca and ends in Marrakech, you’ll discover the diversity of the country. Starting with the best imperial cities of Casablanca, Rabat, the capital of Morocco, strolling through the streets of Chefchaouen and the medina of Fez, discovering impressive places of historical and cultural interest.
Itinerary:
Day 1 : Arrival in Casablanca
Upon arrival at Casablanca airport, a member of our team will meet you and transfer you to your Riad/hotel in the center of Casablanca. Welcome dinner, accommodation and breakfast.
Day 2 : Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen (blue city)
After breakfast, we start our 9-day tour of Morocco with a full itinerary and visit the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. We will then head to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, where we will explore the main historical sites, including the Kasbah of Oudaya, the Mausoleum of Mohammed 5 and the Hassan Tower, the minaret of an incomplete mosque. We’ll have lunch and then head towards Chefchaouen.
Day 3 : Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Fez
Breakfast at the Riad, your authentic trip to Morocco in 9 days will start in the direction of Volubilis, passing through Wazan and other villages in the Rif. In Volubilis, you will discover the Roman ruins and learn about the archaeological site of Moroccan history. After visiting the ruins, you’ll head to Meknes, a 17th-century heritage site, where you’ll stop for lunch and pass through the medina and Bab el Mansour. We will then drive to Fez, where you will spend the night.
 Day 4: Fez city tour
Today, you’ll start exploring Fez, Morocco’s oldest city, walking through its alleys and small streets. Your visit will begin by entering the gate of the Royal Palace and continue through the Jewish quarter, the first Mellah built in Morocco, dating back to the 16th century. We make sure you visit all the cultural and historical sites, including the famous
famous Al Karaouine University, the oldest in the region, the tanneries, the Attarine museum and the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. After lunch, you will visit the tile cooperative and then have a wonderful panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fes.
 Day 5: Fes, Middle Atlas Mountains – Ziz Valley – Desert camping
After breakfast, we’ll start traveling south to the Merzouga desert, via Midelt and Errachidia. Your first stop will be the city of Ifrane, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco”, and then Merzouga, via Midlet and the Ziz Valley. During this trip, you’ll get a glimpse of the Middle and Upper Atlas Mountains.
Stopping in the famous cedar forest – the largest in Morocco, you will have the opportunity to see the barbarian monkeys. You’ll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the town of Errachidia. After lunch in Midelt, your Visit Morocco in 9 Days full itinerary continues along the spectacular Ziz Valley, stopping to take in the panoramic views along the way.
Later, arrive at our destination, where you will ride your camel to see the sunset in the middle of the sand dunes and spend the night there. Overnight in our desert camp, where you will have your dinner. (Well-equipped camp, including dinner and breakfast.
Day 6 : Desert camp – Todra Valley – Dades Valley
Wake up early to admire the sunrise over the desert, have breakfast and then leave the dunes on a camel ride to join your vehicle and take the road to Rissani (or, if you are traveling in a 4×4 vehicle, you can be picked up at the camp).
We will then start our journey to the Dades Valley, passing through the Todgha Valley and Gorges, where we will stop to take pictures of the kasbahs. You’ll have the opportunity to hike through the stunning Todgha Gorges before continuing our itinerary in the Dades tour. Overnight in the Dades Valley, including dinner and breakfast.
Day 7 : Dades Valley – Valley of the Roses – Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
Breakfast at the hotel, we’ll head to Marrakech again passing through the Dades Valley, with its impressive rock formations and ancient kasbahs, and then on to the Valley of Roses, known for its damask roses which are harvested in April. Continuing our journey, we will head to Ouarzazate, known as Africa’s Hollywood, where you can see the Taourirt kasbah and visit the film studios.
We will then continue our tour to a UNESCO Heritage Site, the Ait ben Haddou ksar, the largest ksar in Morocco, where films such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia and The Jewel of the Nile were filmed, and continue to Marrakech via the Tichka Pass, one of the highest mountains in Morocco. We’ll arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon.
Day 8 : Marrakech – City tour
Today we’ll take a guided tour of Marrakech. You’ll explore the city’s main attractions and monuments, including the famous Jemaa el Fna square, the Koutoubia mosque, the souks, palaces and museums. We will also explore parts of the city belonging to the Marrakech Jdid “New City”, such as Gueliz, the Menara and Majorelle Gardens.
Day 9 : Marrakech or Casablanca Airport
Transfer to Marrakech or Casablanca airport, depending on your flight schedule, and the end of our 9-day Morocco itinerary.
